Netflix Begins Filming New YA Series

Netflix has started shooting Olympo, an upcoming YA series produced by Zeta Studios (Elite, Reyes de la noche).

Created by Jan Matheu, Laia Foguet and Ibai Abad and directed by Abad, Marçal Forès, Daniel Barone and Ana Vázquez, the show sees the perfectionist captain of a national synchronized swimming team be outperformed for the first time by her teammate and best friend. She soon realizes that certain athletes are inexplicably improving their performance.

The cast includes Clara Galle (Raising Voices), Nira Osahia, Agustín Della Corte (Society of the Snow), Nuno Gallego (Elite), María Romanillos (Paraíso), Martí Cordero (4 estrellas), Juan Perales, Andy Duato (HIT) and Najwa Khliwa (Menudas piezas), among others.
