The central characters in Punar Vivah, sold by Zee Entertainment Enterprises, are beginning a new journey together, as they both enter into the holy institution of marriage for the second time.

The story in Kumkum Bhagya centers on two sisters and explores their dreams, aspirations and intertwined destinies, as seen through the eyes of their mother. Jodha Akbar, set in the 16th century, is a romantic saga about a Mughal emperor and a Rajput princess.

“NATPE is known for its large Latin American attendance, and this is a major priority target for Zee,” says Sunita Uchil, Zee Entertainment Enterprises’ chief business officer for international ad sales, global syndication and production. “Several of our dramas are available in Spanish—such as Jodha Akbar, Begusarai, Jamai Raja and others—and we have many movies that are translated as well.”

She adds, “India and Latin America share a love for family dramas, and we find that audiences respond well to our well-produced stories.”
