NATPE Spotlight: GMA Worldwide

A trio of contemporary dramas leads the slate that GMA Worldwide is presenting at the market in Miami: My Korean Jagiya, Impostora and Angela.

My Korean Jagiya is about a Korean drama fan who falls in love with an actor; Impostora follows a woman as she learns that she has taken on another person’s identity; and Angela centers on half-sisters who both possess superpowers.

“These dramas will appeal to buyers because viewers are always in search of heartwarming, captivating and adrenaline-charged stories,” says Manuel Paolo Laurena, the company’s senior sales manager. “These dramas contain all the elements necessary to make for compelling viewing and are the kind of dramas that viewers love. The stories mirror real-life situations that anyone around the world can relate to.”
