WASHINGTON, D.C.: Naim Media Group (NMG) is launching a production house specializing in scripted series based on real events.

The production company will develop fictional series inspired by “the lesser known but most surprising events and people that shape today’s world.”  Led by Andres Naim, the company plans to make use of its Washington, D.C. base, which it touts as the “epicenter of world power, intrigue and politics.” The group claims to have “privileged access” to key sources, major protagonists and unique intelligence related to dramatic current and historical events.

The company will also have a division focused on creating nonfiction content such as documentaries and current-affairs formats.

Naim remarked: “Today’s consumers are better informed about the many options available to them and demand content that surpasses the originality and production values of anything they have seen. At NMG, we have created a unique combination which we believe gives us an interesting competitive advantage. We blend our insider access to incredible and factual stories with the unique talent of our writers and producers to intertwine these true events with fictional narratives that humanize them and make the stories more alluring and accessible to global audiences. We’ve seen that there is great demand for these types of products, and at NMG, we feel well positioned to take advantage of this opportunity. It is this distinctive position that has allowed us to partner with some of the best-known and most prestigious brands in the industry. We are excited to introduce Naim Media Group as a company that combines our founding members’ decades of experience in international politics and content creation.”
