Miss Scarlet Renewed for Sixth Season

MASTERPIECE on PBS has renewed Miss Scarlet for a sixth season, with Kate Phillips (Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light) reprising her role as the title character.

In season six, Eliza and Blake’s once-fraught relationship begins to evolve while newlyweds Ivy and Potts adjust to married life. Also, a new detective settles in at Scotland Yard and Nash causes chaos.

Other returning cast for the new season are Tom Durant-Pritchard as DI Alexander Blake, Cathy Belton as Ivy, Paul Bazely as Clarence, Simon Ludders as Mr. Potts, Tim Chipping as Detective Phelps and Ansu Kabia as Moses.

Joining the cast for season six are Sam Buchanan and Grace Hogg-Robinson.

Miss Scarlet is created by Rachael New and written by New and Ben Edwards. It is a co-production of Miss Scarlet Limited and MASTERPIECE in association with PBS and Other Mans Shoes, with production services provided by WiP and preinvestment from UKTV.
