Miranda Kwok Set for TV Drama Festival

Miranda Kwok, creator and executive producer of the U.S. adaptation of The Cleaning Lady, is slated to take part in the TV Drama Festival, which you can register for here.

Produced by Warner Bros. Television and FOX Entertainment, The Cleaning Lady is based on the Argentinean series La Chica Que Limpia. Kwok wrote the pilot script and developed The Cleaning Lady for the FOX Network. Among other credits, she also served as a writer and supervising producer for The 100 on The CW Network, working for four seasons on the Warner Bros. TV series.

Running from June 28 to 30, the TV Drama Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the major trends in the business of scripted series today. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on TVDramaFestival.com. Unlike other events requiring hefty registration fees, attendance to the TV Drama Festival is free.

Kwok joins previously announced speakers Howard Gordon, Robert and Michelle King, Juan José Campanella, Neil Dudgeon, Viaplay Group’s Filippa Wallestam, Lionsgate’s Sandra Stern, Lars Blomgren and Kudos’ Karen Wilson.
