CANNES: Bryan Elsley and his daughter, writer Jess Brittain, follow-up the award-winning hit Skins with the new six-parter Clique, one of all3media International’s highlights.

“There is a deficit of quality drama in the youth space,” says Sally Habbershaw, the company’s executive VP of sales and co-productions for North America. “Clique is a thriller in its constitution, but the underlying theme that is most riveting is the volatility and intensity of female friendships.”

True Blood’s Stephen Moyer stars in the prime-time drama Safe House: The Crow, the next chapter in the event series. The four-parter debuts on ITV in May. “Following the success of Safe House: The Lake, the drama returns with a new cast, location and story line,” says Habbershaw.

Also a four-part ITV drama, Innocent deals with themes of love, lust, jealousy and betrayal, as one man fights to rebuild his shattered life and a family struggles to find out the truth behind the murder of their loved one.

From the pen of BAFTA Award-winning writer Kay Mellor and starring Ashley Jensen (Extras), Love, Lies & Records will be available for presale. The series explores how women, in particular, have to juggle their lives.

Meanwhile, The ABC is a brand-new drama from The Forge, creators of National Treasure. “Told in a deft, emotional and witty style, The ABC charts an uncompromising and entertaining path through the minefield of growing up in an ever-changing world,” says Stephen Driscoll, all3media International’s executive VP for EMEA and European co-productions. “This six-part school-based drama offers a contemporary view of multicultural teenage life.”

He adds: “Our continuing work with some of the industry’s leading production and creative talent is resulting in a significant number of prime-time drama series coming through the pipeline.”
