Lifetime Orders New Movie for “Ripped from the Headlines” Slate

Lifetime has greenlit the new movie Buried Alive and Survived for its Ripped from the Headlines fall slate.

Produced by Swirl Films and starring Eva Marcille (The Real Housewives of Atlanta, All the Queen’s Men) and Tyler Lepley (P-Valley, Harlem), Buried Alive and Survived follows a woman who survives being buried alive by her ex-husband. The title is set to premiere on September 21.

Manu Boyer (Girl in the Basement) is set to direct. Abbey Sibucao, Ron Robinson and Eric Tomosunas serve as executive producers.
