Netflix is set to launch the new historical Korean drama My Country: The New Age internationally next month.

Set during the transitional period between the late Goryeo dynasty and the early Joseon dynasty in the late 14th century, My Country: The New Age centers on people who desire power while protecting their faith. The series will be available exclusively on Netflix outside Korea with two episodes launching weekly from October 4 for most Asia-Pacific and English-speaking countries, with the weekly rollout starting in the rest of the world from October 14.

My Country: The New Age follows Seo Hwi (Yang Se-jong), a warrior who does not compromise when it comes to injustice, her friend Nam Seon-ho (Woo Do-hwan), who passes the military examination to overcome his social rank, and a misunderstanding between them that leads to conflict. Kim Seol-hyun, Kim Yeong-cheol and Jang Hyuk also star in the series directed by Kim Jin-won and written by Chae Seung-dae.
