Knightfall Notches Up New Deals

With a raft of new agreements in place, A+E Networks has sold the drama series Knightfall into 200-plus territories.

New licensing agreements have been closed with HISTORY in the U.K., Italy and South Korea; Canal D for French-speaking Canada; Euro TV in France; Deutsche Telekom in Germany; OTE Cinema 1 in Greece; Manoto and the Starz Play SVOD service for the Middle East. Also on board the Knights Templar drama are Box Channel in New Zealand; Viasat pay channels for the Nordics, Russia and CEE; HBO in Poland; TVSeries in Portugal; Ren TV in Russia; SABC in South Africa; Dramax and K-Star in South Korea; HBO in Spain and Andorra; Nitro and Neox – Antena 3 in Spain; and True ID, True ID TV and True TV in Thailand.

The new broadcasters add to the list of territories currently airing Knightfall, which includes SBSTwo in Australia; HBO and Cinemax in Central Europe, Poland, Spain and Andorra; iQiyi and BesTV in China; Sirkus in Iceland; YES in Israel; FilmBox Premium in Central and Eastern Europe; and iflix in Southeast Asia. The series also airs on HISTORY in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia.
