Kanal D Sends Time Goes By to Spain

Kanal D International has secured a deal for the period drama Time Goes By (Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman Ki) with Spain’s Nova.

Set in Turkey in the 1960s and ’70s, Time Goes By tells the story of a shattered family, with sea voyaging Ali Akarsu spending most of his time away from home as his wife Cemile takes care of their four children. The series bowed as Mar De Amores on Nova on September 6.

In Time Goes By, when Ali comes back from his voyage, the whole family is happy but soon realizes that there’s a dark side to his return, as he acts differently to everyone—especially Cemile. A letter reveals that Ali has had an affair with a woman named Caroline. Aras Bulut İynemli, Farah Zeynep Abdullah, Emir Berke Zincidi, Wilma Elles, Ayça Bingöl and Erkan Petekkaya star.
