Kanal D International Series Expand Reach

Kanal D International’s hit Turkish dramas Price of Passion and New Life have been sold into Thailand.

Price of Passion sees Ferhat (İbrahim Çelikkol), a cold-blooded hit man with a traumatic past, work for his criminal uncle Namık (Muhammet Uzuner). When idealistic surgeon Aslı (Birce Akalay) operates on a man Ferhat shot, she unwittingly entangles herself in his dangerous world.

New Life tells the story of two families with distinct backgrounds whose paths cross, setting off a chain reaction. In the series, Adem (Serkan Çayoğlu), a retired special forces soldier, accepts a job as a bodyguard for Yasemin (Melisa Aslı Pamuk), the wife of wealthy businessman Timur (Tayanç Ayaydın).

This license deal marks a milestone in bringing Kanal D International’s Turkish catalogue to broader international audience.
