Kanal D Drama Broadcasting in 13 Countries

Kanal D International has now brought Kanal D Drama to 13 countries, including across Western Europe, CEE and Latin America, as well as in the U.S.

“Kanal D Drama is the first Turkish drama channel established ever and the first channel that entered the U.S. market with the technical and distribution partnership of THEMA America,” said Kerim Emrah Turna, executive director at Kanal D International. “After this success in 2019, Kanal D Drama started presenting 24 hours of Turkish drama in France and Albania in 2020. We are very happy to announce that Kanal D International continues successfully to widen the business operations with the Kanal D Drama brand since 2018.”

In addition to Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, Paraguay and Uruguay, Kanal D Drama, with its catalog of more than 1,500 Turkish dramas, started broadcasting in France, Albania and Kosovo in 2020.

In Albania, Kanal D Drama is on air with the cooperation of Tring and started broadcasting on March 31 as a pay-TV channel on Tring platforms, reaching Albanian-speaking audiences in Albania and Kosovo. Kanal D Drama started broadcasting in France for Turkish audiences on SFR and free platforms.
