Julia Roberts to Star in TV Adaptation of Today Will Be Different

LOS ANGELES: Julia Roberts has signed on to star in an upcoming limited series based on Maria Semple’s book Today Will Be Different.

The TV adaptation will be written by Semple. The story follows Eleanor Flood, a beleaguered mother and wife, who decides to take charge of her life.

Annapurna Television and Red Om Films will be producing. Roberts will produce through Red Om, with Semple, Annapurna Founder Megan Ellison and President of Television Sue Naegle serving as executive producers.
