Juan José Campanella on The Envoys Success

A second season of The Envoys (Los Enviados) is coming soon to Paramount+, and if the reception for season one is any indication, season two is highly anticipated. With its debut, the Spanish-language scripted series had the strongest acquisition and streaming performance across all original international titles to debut on Paramount+ US.

Produced and directed by Oscar winner Juan José Campanella (The Secret in Their Eyes), the action thriller earned Gold for best drama and Silver for best screenplay at the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards. The Envoys was produced as part of an exclusive first-look deal between VIS and Campanella’s production company, 100 Bares Productions.
