Japanese broadcaster Kansai TV’s crime drama Informa, based on a novel by Garyo Okita, has debuted in full on Netflix outside of Japan.

Directed by Michihito Fujii (The Journalist, The Last 10 Years), the ten-part series centers on a tabloid reporter who is investigating a slew of murders involving the police, yakuza and underworld residents, and an informant who knows everything about society, politics and entertainment.

The series stars Reo Sano and Kenta Kiritani in the lead roles.

Informa premiered in Japan on Netflix on January 13, and new episodes have been streaming weekly. Now, all ten episodes are available outside of Japan in more than 190 countries.

“We are very excited that global audience can enjoy our new drama Informa through Netflix,” said Miho Okada, executive managing director at Kansai TV. “Informa is a very unique drama series that contains violence, action, suspense and a love story. We believe it will be appreciated by drama lovers all over the world.”
