ITVS GE Boosts Scripted Team

ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE) has tapped Sky alum Louisa Forsyth as VP of global content, scripted.

Forsyth was with Sky since 2003 in a range of positions, including acquisitions, entertainment and corporate affairs. “Louisa joining us is perfect timing as we prepare to head down to MIPCOM,” said Julie Meldal-Johnsen, executive VP of global content. “I’m delighted that the scripted content team is now complete and, as we look to cement our place as a truly worldwide producer-distributor, Louisa’s international experience strengthens our cause as we are now ideally positioned to collaboratively cater [to] our creative partners and clients.”

Forsyth added, “I am thrilled to be joining ITVS GE at this exciting time of content growth and delighted to be working with the talented global entertainment team to further expand our drama portfolio internationally.”

ITVS GE’s scripted slate for MIPCOM includes The War of the Worlds, Dark Heart and West of Liberty.
