Israeli Kitchen Drama The Chef to Debut for Global Viewers

The Israeli kitchen drama The Chef is slated to debut for viewers around the world on February 1 on the global Israeli content streamer IZZY.

The series centers on Nimrod, an unemployed high-tech worker who begins working in the kitchen of a prestigious restaurant run by the brilliant chef Dori, who is struggling to stay relevant and keep his place at the top of the competitive culinary world. The Chef explores the toxic masculinity typical in the restaurant business through the two male characters.

Guri Alfi stars as Nimrod, and Gal Toren plays Dori. Additional cast members are Rotem Sela, Yael Elkana, Romi Aboulafia, Keren Berger, Omer Etzion and Gitit Fisher.

The Chef is produced by yes Studios. It joins other yes Studios productions such as Shtisel, Who Died? and Just for Today on IZZY.
