Inter Medya Sends Miracle in Cell No. 7 to Brazil

Inter Medya has secured a sale for the movie Miracle in Cell No. 7 in Brazil, where it will soon make its debut.

Starring Aras Bulut İynemli and Nisa Sofiya Aksongur, Miracle in Cell No. 7 is an adaptation of a 2013 South Korean film. Set in the early 1980s during Turkey’s coup d’état period, it tells the story of a shepherd named Memo who lives with his beloved daughter and grandmother in an Aegean town. Memo, who has a mental deficiency, is framed for the murder of the martial law commander’s daughter, turning his life upside down. Mehmet Ada Öztekin directs.

Inter Medya previously announced that it had signed agreements with eight different countries for the movie’s international sales. Miracle in Cell No. 7 has been licensed to seven countries in Latin America, including Mexico (Imagen TV), Chile (Canal 13), Colombia (Caracol), Ecuador (Ecuavisa), El Salvador (Canal Seis), Honduras (Canal 11) and the Dominican Republic (Color Visión). The movie has also been licensed to Israel (Achla TV).
