Inter Medya Inks Miniseries Deals

Inter Medya has set an initiative to expand its Turkish miniseries, clinching new licensing deals for a host of titles, including for the 8×45-minute Interrupted.

Interrupted, from TIMS&B Productions, has been acquired by Italy’s Mediaset and will also expand its reach into MENA and Thailand. The title sees young journalist Ozan lose his life in an unfortunate traffic accident. He is then given a second chance.

Dreams and Realities has also gone to Italy’s Mediaset. After being licensed to Brazil’s Globo, Naked is also set to reach audiences in Poland and Thailand.

Along with Interrupted, Respect and Behzat Ç. have been licensed across the MENA region. The digital sequel of Behzat Ç. has found homes in Venezuela and the U.S. Hispanic market as well.

A pivotal initiative in the direction of this initiative was also the introduction of the New Generation Turkish Series brand in 2021. New Generation Turkish Series are miniseries designed specifically for streaming platforms.

Inter Medya will soon unveil more miniseries deals and a new exclusive agreement to expand its catalog.
