Hilary Bevan Jones Re-Ups as Endor MD

Hilary Bevan Jones, founder and managing director of scripted producer Endor Productions, has agreed to a multiyear extension of her contract.

Endor, which became part of Red Arrow Studios in 2012, has a roster of scripted shows that includes the drama Vienna Blood for ORF and ZDF; two seasons of Matthew Parkhill’s Deep State for Fox Networks Group; and the forthcoming BBC One drama But When We Dance, written by Paul Mayhew-Archer.

Bevan Jones has worked on numerous dramas throughout her career, including Roald Dahl’s Esio Trot, with Dustin Hoffman, Dame Judi Dench and James Corden for BBC One; That Day We Sang, written and directed by Victoria Wood and starring Imelda Staunton and Michael Ball for BBC Two; Paul Abbott’s State of Play, starring David Morrissey, John Simm, Kelly Macdonald, Polly Walker, Bill Nighy and James McAvoy for BBC One; and the HBO film The Girl in the Café, written by Richard Curtis and starring Bill Nighy and Kelly Macdonald. In 2006, she was made chair of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), the first woman in its then-60-year history to hold this position.
