Lionsgate has done a package deal with HBO Europe covering a range of titles, among them the Starz original The White Princess.

The White Princess, which debuted in the U.S. in April, was picked up for Central Europe and Spain. The Lionsgate series Graves was licensed by HBO Europe for all territories in its footprint. The deal also includes The White Queen, complementing a previous agreement with HBO Europe for the series CasualAmerican Lion and Dimension 404.

“With this package of very strong titles from Lionsgate we are pleased to be providing our dedicated series fans with a new batch of wide-ranging premium programming,” said Ragnhild Thorbech, the senior VP of programming and acquisitions at HBO Europe.

Peter Iacono, Lionsgate’s president of international television and digital distribution, commented, “We are delighted to continue our long partnership with HBO for premium programming to serve their viewers in the Nordics, Spain and Central and Eastern Europe. The deal marks a great kickoff to the NATPE Budapest market, which we enter with a massive library and a deep pipeline of brand-new scripted and unscripted series, including Candy Crush, The White Princess and Kicking and Screaming, and which we look forward to sharing with our clients.”
