LONDON: STUDIOCANAL has placed Harlan Coben’s The Five with Radio-Canada, Canada’s national French public radio and television broadcaster, to be aired in the near future.

Produced by RED Production Company (Happy Valley), The Five is an original commission for the U.K.’s Sky 1. The ten-part thriller was created by the New York Times best-selling author as his first TV project.

Dominique Chaloult, the general manager of Radio-Canada’s French Television, commented: “It is with great pleasure that we will invite our audience to discover the first TV series stemming directly from the imagination of renowned thriller master Harlan Coben. Captivating from the start, The Five is representative of the top-notch international productions that Radio-Canada is proud to broadcast.”

The Five is a world-class thriller that has the appeal and multi-layered plot lines that captivate viewers from the very start—just like one of Harlan Coben’s best-selling novels. We have successfully sold The Five to broadcasters throughout the world and I am certain that Canadian audiences will also be seduced by this remarkable series,” said Katrina Neylon, the executive VP of sales and marketing at STUDIOCANAL.
