Hallmark Cards’ SVOD Service Producing Cloris Leachman Drama

LOS ANGELES: Feeln, the SVOD service and subsidiary of Hallmark Cards, is slated to produce the original scripted drama The Eleventh.

Starring Academy Award- and Emmy Award-winning actress Cloris Leachman, the title follows a young girl’s journey to getting to know her estranged grandmother in order to bring closure to the past and unite her family. Also joining the cast is Ed Asner, who co-starred with Leachman on The Mary Tyler Moore Show, plus Florence Henderson (The Brady Bunch), Chris Atkins (Blue Lagoon) and Tracy Nelson (Down and Out in Beverly Hills).

“Uniting iconic television legends to share the screen again has been an incredible experience, and we can’t wait to share the final product,” said Rob Fried, the CEO of Feeln.

The project follows other recently announced original content from Feeln, including a reboot of the ’80s animated series Rainbow Brite.
