GMA Worldwide in the Philippines has aligned with content distributors in Myanmar to bring a trio of its drama titles to the region.

Through a deal with Dream 99 Media, My Korean Jagiya recently completed its run on MWD Channel’s prime time. The series, starring Heart Evangelista (Beautiful Strangers, Juan Happy Love Story) and K-Pop artist Alexander Lee, was shot on location in Seoul and Manila.

Once Again is slated to premiere on October 23 on Myanmar’s 5 Plus free-to-air television channel through GWI’s partnership with Family Entertainment. The romantic drama stars Janine Gutierrez (Legally Blind) opposite Aljur Abrenica as star-crossed lovers reincarnated to give their relationship another shot.

The romantic-comedy series The One That Got Away—which tackles how modern women handle love, friendship and relationships—premiered on October 19 on Channel 7, the second free-to-air channel of Myanmar’s Forever Group Co. The series’ cast is led by Dennis Trillo, Lovi Poe, Rhian Ramos and Max Collins.
