GMA Network, CreaZion Studios and Viu in the Philippines have inked a deal for a new revenge drama series, Beauty Empire.

Created by filmmaker Real Florido and screenwriter Rona Co at CreaZion, the series is produced by GMA Public Affairs and delves into the fierce rivalry between powerful women in the beauty industry.

Annette Gozon-Valdes, president and CEO of GMA Films and senior VP for programming, talent management, worldwide and support group at GMA Network, noted, “I would like to thank our partners, Viu and CreaZion, for uniting with GMA to bring you this very special project. In this particular series, we will show you, in a very different and modern way, what millions of Filipinos are doing now. And I’m very happy that two of our most beloved and best GMA artists are leading Beauty Empire—Barbie Forteza and Kyline Alcantara.”

Beauty Empire is currently in production to premiere on Viu before arriving on GMA.
