Global Screen has secured the rights to distribute Constantin Television’s The Palace, which will be broadcast on ZDF in Germany next year.

The legendary Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin serves as the setting for the six-part scripted series. Taking place at the end of the 1980s, the story centers on twin sisters Chris and Marlene (both played by Svenja Jung), who meet for the first time in their lives as adults in what proves to be a fateful encounter.

The Palace is a production of Constantin Television in cooperation with ZDF. It is produced by Kathrin Bullemer and Rüdiger Böss with Creative Producer Fritz Wildfeuer and Executive Producer Oliver Berben. Frank Zervos, Matthias Pfeifer, Ronja Reitzig and Günther van Endert are at the reins at ZDF. Global Screen is responsible for global distribution.
