Global Agency has added to the roster of deals signed for the romantic drama Daydreamer, which is currently airing in Turkey on Star TV.

Broadcasters in Lithuania, Croatia, Albania and Israel have now come on board, in addition to previously signed agreements in Ukraine, Iraq, Spain and Bulgaria. The series, produced by Gold Film, tells the story of a fun-loving daydreamer who sets off on a tumultuous journey of romantic adventure, leaving behind her father’s grocery store to tame the wild heart of a world-famous photographer and teach them both about love.

Izzet Pinto, founder and CEO of Global Agency, said: “We’re so pleased to announce these new deals for Daydreamer. We’ve had confidence in its potential from the first day we launched it. It’s delivering solid numbers in the countries where the show is currently on air. It is very important for us to see that the demand for Turkish drama is still increasing.

“According to the information compiled from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Turkish TV series sector, which has made a significant leap especially in the last ten years, came in second place right after the U.S. in export rates. There are ongoing negotiations for the drama in several territories and we are looking forward to seeing Daydreamer on plenty of channels’ international programming.”
