Filmax, Jaume Balagueró & Pau Freixas to Bring The Nameless to TV

Filmax is working with Jaume Balagueró ([REC], Sleep Tight) and Pau Freixas (The Red Band Society, I Know Who You Are) on a TV adaptation of Los sin nombre (The Nameless).

Currently in development, the series is created by Balagueró and Freixas and is in the works by Arca Audiovisual, Filmax’s TV division. Based on a novel by Ramsey Campbell, The Nameless marked Balagueró’s feature debut in 1999.

The story follows Claudia, whose daughter was kidnapped and murdered six years before by a religious fanatic. Claudia receives a panicked phone call from a girl claiming to be her dead child, begging her to rescue her before she’s killed.
