Family Drama Northern Rescue Heads to Netflix

William Baldwin (MacGyver) and Kathleen Robertson (Murder in the First) star in the 10×1-hour family drama Northern Rescue, which is coming to Netflix (excluding Canada).

The series comes from Mark Bacci (Between, Real Detective), David Cormican (Between, Tokyo Trial) and Dwayne Hill (Peg + Cat, Billable Hours). A CBC and Netflix original production, the drama stars Baldwin as John West, who packs up his three children after the death of his wife and moves from their hectic urban life to his small northern hometown to take command of the local Search & Rescue service. The children’s aunt (Robertson) helps John and his children heal as she copes with the loss of her sister and her desire to have a family of her own.

Production begins in June. The series is produced by Don Carmody Television. Executive producers are Don Carmody (Resident Evil, Goon), Cormican, Bradley Walsh (Flower Shop Mystery, The Listener), Bacci, Baldwin and Hill.
