Eccho Rights to Take New Czech Crime Drama Global

Eccho Rights has added to its catalog the Czech crime series Murder Squad (Mordparta) following a deal with the broadcaster Prima.

Murder Squad follows the private and professional lives of a team of investigators in Prague. A second season, starring Jiří Bartoška and Markéta Plánková, recently wrapped in the Czech Republic.

Eccho Rights will be presenting the title at NATPE Budapest this week.

“We are very excited to welcome this series to our catalog,” said Barbora Susterova, the head of Eccho Rights’ Madrid office. “Demand for quality crime drama remains high, but it is the human elements of this series [that] make it an even more interesting proposition for buyers looking for something a little different.”
