Eccho Rights Places Turkish Dramas in Mexico

Eccho Rights has secured broadcast deals in Mexico for dramas from the Turkish producer Ay Yapim.

Imagen Televisión in Mexico will premiere Brave and Beautiful, which stars Kivanç Tatlituğ and Tuba Büyüküstün, today. In Mexico, the series is titled Cezür and will broadcast daily in a 6 p.m. slot.

Additionally, the broadcaster has acquired Insider to air in Mexico later this year. The show debuted last month on Mega in Chile as well.

“These Ay Yapim series were among the most anticipated launches in Eccho Rights’ history, and the amazing quality of production and audience reactions have more than justified that anticipation,” said Fredrik af Malmborg, the managing director at Eccho Rights.

“The reception in LatAm has been overwhelmingly positive for these series and interest continues to be high across the territory,” added Eccho’s head of Latin America, Barbora Susterova. “With Insider already performing so well in Chile, the success looks likely to keep growing.”
