Eccho Rights Launching North Star at MIPCOM

Eccho Rights is set to highlight the Sürec Film-produced Turkish drama series North Star (Kuzey Yildizi) in Cannes.

North Star follows a man named Kuzey who left his rural home for the city, where he builds a life with a great career, a wife and three daughters. But when he loses his job and his wife leaves him, he and his daughters head back to his village, where he reunites with his childhood sweetheart Yildizi.

The series is the latest collaboration between Sürec Film and Eccho Rights, which have previously joined forces for such titles as New Bride, Cennet and Cherry Season.

Handan Özkubat, director of Turkish drama at Eccho Rights, said: “We always look forward to presenting Sürec Film series to our buyers.
