Eccho Rights Brings Legacy to New Markets

Eccho Rights has secured new deals around the world for the Turkish drama series Legacy, produced by Karamel Yapim.

Following a deal inked with Albavision, Legacy will air across ten Central and South American territories. It has also been picked up by ATN in Afghanistan, Imedi in Georgia and SIA in Lithuania.

Legacy, which made its debut in September 2020, has delivered strong results for Turkey’s Kanal 7, which will launch the series’ second season later this year.

Handan Özkubat, director of Turkish drama at Eccho Rights, said: “Daily dramas from Turkey have proven to be hugely valuable and reliable content for channels all over the world, and many of our clients are signing up for the first two seasons of Legacy immediately—over 500 episodes—such is their confidence in the success it can deliver.”
