De Mensen Preps Drama on Brussels Airport Attacks

Belgian producer De Mensen has started filming Lost Luggage, a six-part drama about the aftermath of the March 2016 attacks at Brussels Airport.

Belgium’s Dutch pubcaster VRT has teamed with the French/German broadcaster ARTE to commission the series. The psychological drama is created by Tiny Bertels (Highway of Love, Hotel Beau Séjour), in collaboration with Nathalie Basteyns (Hotel Beau Séjour, The Out-Laws).

The series centers on themes of finding solidarity, love and hope, even in the most difficult moments. It is co-directed by Kaat Beels, Basteyns and Ibbe Daniels.
