DC’s Doom Patrol Lands on STARZPLAY in the U.K.

The Starz streaming service STARZPLAY has acquired the DC Superhero drama Doom Patrol for the U.K.

Doom Patrol reimagines the beloved titular group of superheroes that includes Robotman aka Cliff Steele (Brendan Fraser), Negative Man aka Larry Trainor (Matt Bomer), Elasti-Woman aka Rita Farr (April Bowlby) and Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero) and is led by modern-day mad scientist Niles Caulder aka The Chief (Timothy Dalton). All 15 episodes of Doom Patrol’s first season will launch exclusively in the U.K. on STARZPLAY on January 2.

From Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, Doom Patrol is executive produced by Jeremy Carver, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Chris Dingess. The series, which is currently in production on its second season, is distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. International Television Distribution.
