CTV Renews Transplant for Season Three

CTV has ordered a third season of the drama series Transplant, produced by Sphere Media in association with CTV and Universal International Studios.

Filming on the new 13-episode season will take place in Montréal, with Hamza Haq (My Salinger Year) reprising his role as Dr. Bashir Hamed, a talented doctor and Syrian refugee who fled to Canada and was granted a second chance to practice emergency medicine at Toronto’s York Memorial Hospital.

New episodes of Transplant’s second season continue on Mondays at 10 p.m. on CTV, CTV.ca and the CTV app. It will move to its new time slot on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on March 1.

The second season of Transplant is slated to make its debut in the U.S. on NBC on March 6. The drama series has also launched across the U.K., Australia, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands and more. All distribution rights for Transplant are handled by NBCUniversal Global Distribution.
