ChaiFlicks Acquires Kafka

ChaiFlicks has acquired the North American rights to ORF-Enterprise’s six-part series Kafka.

The global streamer is set to debut the program, which is based on the life of famed Bohemian writer Franz Kafka, on June 6. The launch of the title, produced by ORF, ARD and Superfilm, is timed to the 100th anniversary of Kafka’s death.

ChaiFlicks is now available in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia and New Zealand.

“We were tracking Kafka from its inception because of its special subject matter, and we were thrilled that the series lived up to everything we had hoped it would,” said Neil Friedman, co-founder of ChaiFlicks. “It’s beautifully written and produced, and the cast is truly world-class.
