Caracol’s The Girl Lands in Ghana

The Girl, produced by CMO Producciones for Caracol Television, has been picked by the TV3 network in Ghana.

The super series, which has been dubbed into English for the Ghana market, tells the story of a girl named Belky who loses her childhood when she is forcibly recruited by guerrilla army members. After the war and life in the jungle leave her without hope, she regains her freedom and reintegrates into civilian life, determined to thrive with her second chance at independence.

Ana María Estupiñán (Living to Love), Sebastián Eslava (Always a Witch), Diego Vásquez (The Good Bandit), Cony Camelo (Broken Promises) and Marcela Benjumea (Mom of Number 10) make up the cast of The Girl, which has been broadcast in more than 60 countries. In Colombia, it has led prime time throughout all of its broadcast, with an average of 6 million daily viewers.
