Harlan Coben’s Safe has been slated to close out the inaugural Canneseries event with a world premiere screening.

Coben and stars Michael C. Hall and Audrey Fleurot are set to present Safe in Cannes following the Canneseries official awards ceremony on April 11. The series, produced by STUDIOCANAL’s RED Production Company, is scheduled to launch on C8 in France and on Netflix in the rest of the world.

Created by Coben and written by screenwriter Danny Brocklehurst (Shameless), the eight-part series centers on the character of Tom, a single father whose wife died a year ago and he is raising his two daughters in a nice gated community. When his oldest daughter disappears under mysterious circumstances, he realizes that there are dark secrets among the people he loves and the place he lives.
