Canada’s Bravo Slates Jerry O’Connell Detective Procedural

Bravo has signed on as the exclusive Canadian production partner for the new lighthearted detective procedural Carter.

The ten-episode drama stars Jerry O’Connell (Stand by Me, Jerry Maguire) and Sydney Tamiia Poitier (Death Proof, Grindhouse). It marks the latest partnership between Bell Media and Amaze Film + Television, which is producing the series for Sony Pictures Television Networks’ international channels, including AXN. Carter is slated to premiere on Bravo in early 2018 before joining Canada’s CraveTV streaming service.

“Program by program, we continue to build Bravo’s high-profile, prime-time slate of exclusive original programs,” said Mike Cosentino, the senior VP of content and programming at Bell Media. “Carter‘s unique voice and cast are a perfect fit for Bravo, and with partners like Amaze Film + Television and Sony Pictures TV Networks, the series is set up for a successful run.”
