Calinos Sends Turkish Drama Woman to France

Calinos Entertainment has signed a deal with M6 Group, which will air the Turkish series Woman in France.

The drama tells the survival story of Bahar, a young widow with two children. After being abandoned by her mother as a child and losing her father, grandmother and husband, her children are the only two things that make her hold on to life.

Woman was co-produced by MEDYAPIM-MF YAPIM and originally broadcast on FOX Turkey. It will make its debut on one of M6 Group’s linear channels later this year, marking the first time a Turkish series has been broadcast on one of its linear networks.

Following the huge success in Spain, we have great confidence that Woman will be also a hit in France as the next Western European market on an M6 Group’s channel.”
