Bitter Lands, distributed worldwide by Inter Medya, has been picked up for a third season by ATV in Turkey.

Season three of Bitter Lands, produced by TIMS&B Productions, is slated to bow in the fall. Production on the new episodes is due to soon recommence after a long pause caused by the global coronavirus pandemic.

Since its initial launch, Bitter Lands has been licensed to 55 territories worldwide. In Turkey, the series proved to be a success with its first two seasons and became a Thursday evening tradition for audiences across the country.

Can Okan, founder and CEO of Inter Medya, said: “In our opinion, Bitter Lands became one of the most successful dramas in Turkish TV history. We are happy to see its return to production and can’t wait to see what surprising twists it will have in its third season.”
