Banijay Germany has furthered its scripted expansion with the joint venture Dynamic Ally Pictures.

The Berlin-based Dynamic Ally was founded and is led by Helgoland 513 executive producers Veronica Priefer and Johannes Kunkel. Priefer and Kunkel have built a reputation on high impact, returning drama, with multiple projects for UFA Fiction, including two seasons of the RTL+ series The King of Palma, which they created.

Marcus Wolter, CEO and co-founder Banijay Germany, said: “Veronica and Johannes have an impressive instinct for capturing the zeitgeist through powerful returning scripted series. We’re proud to invest in the future of these two creative minds who are known for their hands-on approach, and we warmly welcome them to Banijay Germany, as we continue our efforts in diversifying and expanding our content offering.”

Priefer and Kunkel said: “Banijay Germany and Marcus Wolter embody the entrepreneurial flair and inspiration we’ve been seeking in a partner. The company’s optimism and undeniable creative vision, paired with a pragmatic approach, immediately fascinated us. We’re excited to embark on new projects for creatives and clients across the local and international market and welcome the support of the wider group’s distribution operation.”
