Red Arrow Studios International has licensed Bad Mothers to Channel 5’s My5 VOD streaming service in the U.K.

Channel 5 picked up the exclusive U.K. AVOD rights to the series, which is set to premiere on My5 on September 2. The 8×45-minute drama follows a group of modern women juggling life’s big issues: love, family, careers, infidelity—and murder.

Bad Mothers is produced by Jungle Entertainment and Filthy Productions for Nine Network (Australia) and TVNZ (New Zealand).

Oliver Thomas, VP of digital at Viacom International Media Networks UK, said: “We know that our audience loves a good drama and Bad Mothers will be a great addition to My5 as we continue to expand our scripted offering on the platform.”

Bo Stehmeier, president of Red Arrow Studios International, added: “Bad Mothers is a sexy, glossy, funny drama that has performed very well for Nine in Australia. We are delighted Channel 5 has acquired the show and are sure the series will resonate with viewers in the U.K.”
