Ay Yapım Remakes Mediaset Psychological Drama

Ay Yapım’s Light in the Dark, based on Mediaset’s scripted format On the Brink, is set to bow on Kanal D.

The Italian psychological series is based on the figure of Tosca, a doctor who deals with problematic teenagers. The Turkish adaptation is about the rehabilitation process of a group of young people, including criminals, in a clinic.

Light in the Dark is to premiere in November.

On the Brink was originally broadcast by Mediaset on Canale 5. The deal between Mediaset Distribution and Ay Yapım was brokered by SERA FILM. The Turkish adaptation will be distributed internationally by MADD Entertainment.
