Sky Vision has landed presales in 46 territories for the atmospheric Australian drama Lambs of God.

Adapted from Marele Day’s novel of the same name, Lambs of God follows three eccentric nuns who live on a secluded and remote island. The four-part series, which launched on Foxtel last week, has now been picked up by AMedia, Sky New Zealand, HBO Nordic and RTL Television, among others.

The Lingo Pictures/Endemol Shine Australia production stars Essie Davis (The White Princess, Game of Thrones), Sam Reid (Prime Suspect 1973, The Riot Club), Jessica Barden (The End of the F***ing World, Penny Dreadful) and Ann Dowd (The Handmaid’s Tale, The Leftovers) and is directed by Jeffrey Walker (Modern Family, Dance Academy).

Leona Connell, director of sales at Sky Vision, said: “Lambs of God is a brooding, gothic series that will really get under the skin of viewers around the world. They will all be able to enjoy this beautifully produced, uniquely distinctive piece of drama.”
