Argentina’s Telefe in Turkish Drama Deal with Eccho Rights

Telefe in Argentina has inked a multi-series deal with Eccho Rights that brings more Turkish dramas to the LatAm region.

Telefe picked up Brave and Beautiful and Insider, which both come from producer Ay Yapim. The broadcaster also went for the second season of Green Yapim’s Elif.

Laura Minarro, acting head of sales for LatAm at Eccho Rights, said: “These two series are a perfect example of what makes Turkish drama so successful. On the one hand, with Brave and Beautiful you have a cast with a huge international following, a powerful family story and a great romance. And with Insider’s success we see that though the themes are somewhat darker, with more crime and action, the storytelling is still at an emotional level that locks in viewers and generates real loyalty amongst audiences.”
