Apple TV+ Orders The Dispatcher Adaptation

Apple TV+ has commissioned an adaptation of Ryan David Jahn’s thriller The Dispatcher, with Patrick Brammall (Colin from Accounts, Evil) to star.

Set in Australia, The Dispatcher centers on former police detective Ian Hunt, whose life fell apart ten years prior when his young daughter disappeared without a trace. While now working as a police dispatcher, he receives a distress call from a young girl he is certain is his daughter.

The story is adapted for the screen by Kris Mrksa (Requiem, No Escape, White House Farm). The series is being executive produced by Jamie Laurenson and Hakan Kousetta at 60Forty Films and Mrksa and Joanna Werner at Werner Film Productions.
