Apple TV+ Orders Fashion Thriller from Todd A. Kessler

Apple TV+ has given a series order for The New Look, a thriller centered on Christian Dior and Coco Chanel.

The series, written, executive produced and directed by Todd A. Kessler (Bloodline, Damages, The Sopranos), will star Ben Mendelsohn and Juliette Binoche. Set against the Nazi occupation of Paris, it will follow the end of Chanel’s reign and Dior’s rise to fame.

Produced by Apple Studios, it will be the first production from the television producing partnership of Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Transformers, Salt) and Kessler. Mark A. Baker (Bloodline, The Night Of, Damages) will also produce.
